It is for sure that everyone knows these photos, where people gather in frames. Well, everyone at school was filmed like that – absolutely. And it happened that in Universities this happened. So-you know, you probably know everything. Such pictures are called "total card" and was invented in 1862 by Adolphe-Eugene Disderi, a French photographer who decided in this way to make photography cheaper and more accessible to people. Well, more democratic in General. In the same year he invented, drew and published the first examples of frames of such photos: for large families, for politicians, for universities and for theaters. And just then he made the first trial Assembly of such prints. Experimenting and looking for the right concept for these "common business cards". And the funniest Assembly was the Paris Opera dancers. Because it depicted only their legs-in different States: dancing, resting – but only the legs and the rest of the body of each of the dancers was removed, as not reflecting the character of the one to whom it belonged. That is, Mr. Disderi tried to change the General vector of development of the group cards collected on the professional principle – he wanted to give a visual image not of the person who does not say anything in the dance, but of what shows the level and talent of the dancer – his legs. More such assemblies, neither he nor anyone else did, because even dancers have deemed this card is not too good joke, the others just thought he was mocking those shoots. This, then, gathering people in one card for some sign he was no longer trying to find a look that unites them, and filmed only the face. But I wonder... well, with the dancers-I see. Legs are dancers. What part of a politician's body should be removed? Or the bankers?..
