And today we are not talking about the history of the name of the color, but just about the color. Yes, here is what on the picture-this color and is called he Eigengrau (on-German "domestic a grey"). And this is the color visible to the human eye in total darkness. So, if you do not understand – let me explain to you. Here is when you go, for example, in dark room, with black walls and without hyphenated, then opening eyes you will see not the absence of color of – not net black, and some color. That is, even in the absence of light, some shade is transmitted along the optic nerve, giving a feeling of uniform dark gray, slightly bluish. And Eigengrau has one distinctive feature: it is perceived brighter and more colored than a black object under normal lighting conditions, because contrast is more important to our vision than brightness. If you want to reproduce this color, its hexadecimal value is # 16161D, and in CMYK it is set as follows: 78-72-59-76.
